The range of brands (barbecues, cookers and accessories) is now sold at more than 1000 points of sale in Europe. From our two offices, Haarlem and Roosendaal, and together with 120 colleagues, we continue to build on our international growth. Fyron currently generates a turnover of more than €70 million and has built up a strong position to achieve further growth in core countries (the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France and the UK) and export. Mentha Capital is involved as an investor to facilitate and shape the ambitious international growth agenda.

Your challenge
Your challenge is to further build the Marketing competence and team, together with the Chief Product Officer, and to shape the commercial success of these brands! With 5 Brands in our portfolio and a bright future ahead of us, this is an awesome opportunity for an all-round professional with a strong background in Marketing! While there’s still a lot to win in our home market in The Netherlands, the biggest opportunities are abroad. The full spectrum of the funnel is relevant; from creating initial category awareness about the existence of kamado BBQs to Brand and Product awareness and all the way to strong Loyalty. How would you evolve the different Brand positionings to achieve an optimal result?
The role
As the Marketing Manager, you’re leading the team of about 15 energetic colleagues, including Brand managers, Graphical designers, Content creators, Digital marketeers, Retail/POS marketeers, Webmaster and Event managers. That’s pretty much an in-house agency!
You will not be surprised that this role encompasses evolving the Long Term vision for the different Brands (with related Guidelines, Identities and what not), creating annual Brand plans, strong campaigns and budgets, and leading the successful execution of them. Over time, you will evolve the department and the external agencies we work with.
You’ll achieve your results in close collaboration with your key stakeholders. You’ll be part of the Commercial Excellence Team together with the Chief Product Officer, Chief Commercial Officer and Product Management Lead. Spearheading the various Brand Core teams with your Brand managers and a Sales representative will be a strong tool on your journey to success! You will report into the Chief Product Officer.

About you
It goes without saying that you are enthusiastic, excited to take on a challenge, not afraid to go the extra mile and have a great sense of humor. But this also describes you;
- You have significant experience in building a high end Consumer Brand and in Digital Marketing.
- You have at least a Bachelor degree in a relevant field.
- You have about 10 years of relevant experience in an international company.
- You have experience in leading a team. At the same time, you’re hands-on, ready to do what’s needed.
- You are able to operate strategically, tactically as well as operationally, if needed.
- You have affinity with outdoor cooking & lifestyle and our products.
- You have excellent communication skills in English and you’re comfortable presenting your plans to small to medium group sizes.
- Other aspects that will make you successful include creativity, entrepreneurial attitude, pro-activity and a strong drive for results.
- You are able to visit our other office (Haarlem or Roosendaal) at least once a week and occasionally visit the countries.
